In Japan, cars are subject to an extremely strict annual inspection and taxed exponentially more each year - leading to a bottleneck of very well-maintained vehicles that aren’t economical to run domestically. Couple that with Japanese culture values of pride, cleanliness and meticulous maintenance and you have a pool of incredible cars to buy from. MotorCap chooses the best quality, low mileage examples which are all inspected by our agents on the ground before bringing them to the UK for sale to the trade.

About us
The team behind MotorCap consists of five directors from the UK automotive industry. With backgrounds in arbitrage, media/TV and sales, MotorCap is exclusively placed to deliver what the UK market demands - high quality, low mileage stock at UK trade price.
As a wholesale operation, MotorCap's only goal is to give you, the dealer, access to better stock for your forecourt at reasonable prices, there are no aspirations to operate dealerships or compete on that level.
MotorCap was set up by three directors from the UK automotive industry. Will Whinfrey (CEO) has worked in automotive arbitrage for 25 years and together with Jack Burnford (COO & TV Director) & Larry Hayes (CFO & Lawyer / accountant) they set out with the aim to revolutionise the offering available to the UK trade. They were then joined by Ben Collins - better known as The Stig from BBC’s Top Gear. Ben knows the UK trade from a unique perspective and brings that knowledge to the team from having worked in areas as diverse as racing, to warranties and sales. The face of MotorCap, Ben's presence on the team helps set MotorCap apart.
